health care management program

The Health Care Management major, part of the Business Administration Department, prepares students for leadership roles in the U.S. health care system by providing a solid foundation in the liberal arts. Health Care Management majors take advanced health care and business courses, such as health care management/law, economics/ policy, and finance, as well as marketing, human resources, organizational behavior and management communications. The major integrates classroom, research and internship experiences to provide students with multidisciplinary knowledge and practical skills. Students graduate prepared for entry-level positions in health care and the knowledge necessary for administrative positions in nursing homes, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, managed care and other organizations providing health services.
