Colby-Sawyer Presidential Fellowships (CSPF) are designed to provide 2017 Colby-Sawyer graduates with a gateway position to their careers. Participants will gain work experience, develop professional skills, provide quality contributions to the work of the college, and gain an understanding of how the college, plans, implements, and operates.
The CSPF allows our graduates to continue learning in an educational work setting while also earning a modest, livable wage and includes housing and a Colby-Sawyer College meal plan. The fellowship is designed to last 9 or 10 months, depending on departmental needs, with the possibility of an extension to one additional academic year.
Fellows will be supervised and mentored. They will receive increasingly complex professional work over their time in the position. Expectations for Fellows will vary with the position and specific positional requirements will be made by respective supervisors, but here are some common expectations and experiences for all follows:
