Dr. McCue joined the college as an adjunct assistant professor in 2021 and was hired full time the same year. She holds a BSN from Southern CT State University, an MSN and CNS from Loyola University Chicago and is a summa cum laude DNP graduate from Northeastern University in Boston. Dr. McCue also has a certification in Advanced Oncology (AOCNS) and a certification in Human Research Protections from the National Institute of Health.
Dr. McCue has extensive nursing experience in hospital and outpatient settings inclusive of 30 years in hospital/nursing operations leading multi-disciplinary teams and providing nursing education. Dr. McCue recently has been teaching in the DNP program at Northeastern University in Boston where she sits on the DNP advisory board and teaches DNP epidemiology. Additionally, she has acted as principal investigator for student research.
Dr. McCue is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, the National League of Nursing and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
