Enjoy complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as we celebrate the grand opening of the Colby-Sawyer Center for Art + Design. Explore the 15,000-square-foot facility, which includes studios, the state-of-the-art Niblack Black Box Theater, and the beautiful Davidow Gallery. During the reception, you are invited to view “Inner Visions: Selections from the Collection of Beverly Stearns Bernson ’55,” an extraordinary exhibition composed primarily of outsider art.

12th Annual 5K Dash + Stroll Kelsey Athletic Campus
Join President Susan D. Stuebner in this fall tradition that celebrates the relationship between Colby-Sawyer and the community. The noncompetitive 5K fun run and walk follows the new Kelsey Athletic Campus Woods Trail. Registration will take place under the tent at the Kelsey Athletic Campus soccer field beginning at 8:30 a.m. The start time for runners, walkers and leashed canine companions is 9 a.m. 

Parking is available in LOT K adjacent to Seamans Road. Note: Portions of the trail may be under construction. Please consider mobility concerns and use caution with strollers.

The Homecoming Hospitality Center is in Thornton Living Room, Colgate Hall. Check in to receive your weekend packet containing activity information, any schedule changes, and tickets for paid events. Everyone who checks in will be entered in a raffle to win a Colby-Sawyer cornhole set!


Parking is available in designated campus lots, but strictly prohibited on campus roadways. Golf cart transportation is available for those who need assistance. 


The Dan and Kathleen Hogan Sports Center will be open for use on Friday (6 a.m. – 9 p.m.), Saturday (8 a.m. – 6 p.m.) and Sunday (8 a.m. – 6 p.m.).  Facilities include an indoor swimming pool, indoor track, racquetball courts, basketball courts, and the Van Cise Fitness Center.
Note:  Use of the Van Cise Fitness Center is limited to those 14 and older.  Please check-in at the Hogan front desk and inquire about the use of facilities. 


Meals in the Dining Hall in the Ware Student Center are available to purchase during mealtimes.


The Susan Colgate Cleveland Library, including the use of internet-connected computers, will be open for guest use during these hours:  Friday (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.) and Saturday (10 a.m. – 5 p.m.).
