Considerations for Graduates and the Summer

In preparing to separate from the college graduates need to be aware that 120 days after Commencement your network logon account is disabled. (However, the Microsoft Live email account remains active for all alumni.) You should back up files important to you that are on any network server. This includes, but is not limited to, your P: drive and Moodle. This information could be valuable in your job search or in future application to graduate school.

Make a copy of your files
The easiest way to keep a portable copy of your files is to copy to USB flash drives, or burn them to CD or DVD. All lab computers have CD-DVD burners and software. Recordable disks and flash drives are sold in the bookstore.

Microsoft Office Software
Graduates are conferred perpetual licenses for Microsoft Office. Students withdrawing from CSC are required to uninstall the Microsoft Office package as the license is only valid for current students, staff, faculty and graduated alumni.

Microsoft Ofice365 Email These are permanent email accounts for graduates. They will not expire.

If you are graduating but have on-going projects at the College please contact the Helpdesk (see below) for guidance with requesting extension of your on-line access.
