The self-designed major is all about lifetime learning and career exploration. Through coursework and close collaboration with the Harrington Center for Experiential Learning, two required internships and a senior Capstone project, you will develop a broad body of knowledge and valuable professional skills. The major emphasizes development of a broad body of integrated knowledge and essential skills as well as written and verbal communication, which prepares you to deal with a world of changing professions and skill requirements.

Celebrate Scholarship

The annual scholars’ symposium is an opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge you have acquired during your years of study at Colby-Sawyer. The event brings students, faculty and staff together to celebrate scholarship and exceptional projects and presentations are recognized with Capstone awards.
