Admission Entry Dates
  • Nursing priority: December 1
    (Applications will be accepted through March 1, on a space-available basis.)

First Year Application Checklist
  • Complete Colby-Sawyer’s Online Application or the Common Application
  • Official high school transcript
  • Nursing essay and general admission essay
  • SAT, ACT or TEAS* (Test of Essential Academic Skills). Colby-Sawyer offers the TEAS at the campus testing center

  • Due to the impact of COVID-19 on availability for standardized testing, Colby-Sawyer College will be waiving the requirement on the SAT, ACT, or TEAS exams for students applying to our undergraduate Nursing program for fall 2021 admission.
Transfer Application Checklist
  • Complete Colby-Sawyer’s Online Application
  • Official university/college transcript from each institution attended
  • Official high school transcript
  • Nursing essay and general admission essay

Academic Checklist
  • Minimum GPA 3.3 in college prep course work
  • College prep English: four years
  • College prep math: three years, including algebra I
  • College prep laboratory-based science: three years
  • College prep social studies or history: three years
Extracurricular Checklist

The Admissions Office encourages you to include your participation in student government, athletics, clubs and organizations, volunteer service and employment, as well as any other activities that helped shape your high school experience.
