Commencement Eve – Friday, May 5, 2023
2 – 3:30 p.m.	Scholars & Leaders Ceremony, Sawyer Center Theater, Sawyer Fine Arts Center Graduates are recognized with Capstone, baccalaureate and program recognition awards; honor society cords; and leadership, community and achievement awards. The Nancy Beyer Opler Award for Excellence in Advising will also be presented to the outstanding advisor nominated by students. 3:30 - 5 p.m.	Family Happy Hour, Galligan's Pub at Lethbridge Lodge Graduates gather with family and friends before dinner to catch up and celebrate. Cash bar and limited café menu available for purchase.
4:30 – 5:30 p.m.	Nursing Pinning Ceremony, Sawyer Center Theater, Sawyer Fine Arts Center Faculty present graduating student nurses with pins and welcome them into the profession. 5 p.m.	Graduate Dinner, Dining Room, Ware Student Center This will be a senior’s favorite meal! The senior class has chosen an assortment of their favorite foods throughout their four years. Join them in enjoying these surprise favorites one last time. Purchase Graduate Dinner tickets online.
7:30 – 9:30 p.m.	Family Wacky Bingo, Dining Hall, Ware Student Center Graduates share a favorite campus activity with family and friends. For more information, contact Program Manager for Student Activities Sarah Fields at 603.526.3490 or sarah.fields@colby-sawyer.edu.

Commencement Day – Saturday, May 6, 2023
8:30 – 9:30 a.m.	Breakfast for the Class of 2022, Dining Room, Ware Student Center Graduates enjoy their final breakfast together before Commencement.
9:00 a.m.	Commencement Tent Seating Opens, Quad Families and friends join graduates, trustees, faculty and staff for the 2023 Commencement ceremony on the quad under the tent. Tickets are not required, but families are encouraged to limit guests to 4-6 per graduate. Allioops! Florals will be selling flower bouquets for your graduate and Grounds Coffee Shop will be selling hot beverages and assorted pastries.
10:30 a.m.	Commencement, Quad Graduates and members of the college and greater community are recognized for outstanding contributions to Colby-Sawyer. *Immediately Following Commencement* Reception, Pierce Park* Graduates and their guests join President Susan D. Stuebner for light refreshments as they congratulate and bid farewell to classmates, faculty and staff before lunch with their families in town. *In the event of inclement weather, the reception will take place in the Coffin Field House at the Dan and Kathleen Hogan Sports Center.
