The Department of Fine + Performing Arts is seeking adjunct faculty to teach either GD328 Interactive Design or GD125 Design + Digital Media Foundations in Fall 2019. (One course will be taught by adjunct faculty this semester, and the other by full-time faculty.)
MFA (or other relevant graduate degree), portfolio demonstrating relevant skill sets and expertise, prior teaching experience preferred.
GD328 Interactive Design
Tuesdays + Thursdays 2 p.m. - 3:59 p.m.
Course Description: This intermediate graphic design course provides both a conceptual introduction to interactive design principles and a hands-on introduction to contemporary technical practices and approaches employed in web and mobile design. By developing basic understanding of coding, working knowledge of styling, familiarity with current programs and content management systems, and fluency with relevant terminology, students will become able to plan, organize, envision, and construct interactive projects for digital contexts.
