Under the supervision and evaluation of the Director and Chair of Nursing, this position provides academic support for all students enrolled in the first year of the traditional undergraduate four-year nursing program. Responsibilities include: regular meetings with all students in the first year cohort, evaluation of progress in the major, referrals to additional support services as needed, and on-going contact with advisors, course faculty, and with the Director and Chair of Nursing to assure each student remains in good standing. This is a nine month per year position.
