Joined the college as an adjunct faculty member in 2014 and assistant professor in 2019. Earned a B.S. in nursing from Colby-Sawyer College in 2011 and an M.S.N. from Norwich University in 2015. Professor Anton instructs courses in both classroom and clinical settings, including Introduction to Nursing, Nursing Fundamentals, and Critical Care and Medical-Surgical Settings.
Professor Anton has worked as a staff nurse in the surgical-trauma intensive care unit at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center since her graduation from Colby-Sawyer. In 2017, Professor Anton transitioned into a part-time clinical nurse educator for the critical care units at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, where she still works. In addition to critical care nursing, Professor Anton has a special interest in high-fidelity simulation, nurse burnout and interdisciplinary team work.
