Dr. Pilling joined faculty in 2018 with a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University New England; M.A. from Saint Michael's College; B.A. from Colby-Sawyer College in 2008. Dr. Pilling teaches courses related to clinical theory and practice at the undergraduate and graduate level.
Dr. Pilling is especially interested in exploring the relationship between attachment theory and clinical practice, and has expertise in understanding interpersonal trauma and its influence upon attachment security. Dr. Pilling teaches and practices psychotherapy with marginalized populations using evidence-based practices, working with children, adolescents, emerging adults and their families.
