Strength & Conditioning Track

The Strength & Conditioning track is ideal for candidates focused on helping individuals reach their peak athletic performance and preventing illness and injury.

In the Strength & Conditioning track, students will complete advanced coursework in exercise physiology, nutrition, sports psychology, strength and conditioning theory and advanced strength and conditioning. The Strength & Conditioning track prepares students to become certified strength and conditioning specialists and pursue careers as strength & conditioning coaches or personal trainers at all levels. Additionally, this track also prepares students who wish to continue their education in pursuit of a doctoral degree.

The Undergraduate Strength and Conditioning Program distinguishes baccalaureate degree granting academic institutions with standardized, approved strength and conditioning curricula that is designed to prepare students for the NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist® (CSCS®) certifications.
