    Joined the faculty in 2002. Teaches the senior nursing capstone courses, community and public health nursing, and the introduction to public health. Appointed to the State of N.H. Public Health Improvement Services Council. Participates in a national effort aimed at integrating public health into undergraduate liberal arts education.   • Lisa Purvis EdD, MBA, MPH

    Previously an adjunct instructor, Professor Purvis joined the faculty full-time in 2015. She holds a B.A. from Regis College, an M.B.A. from Wake Forest University’s Babcock School of Management, an M.P.H. from the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University and an Ed.D. from the University of Vermont.

    Professor Purvis has taught public health for more than ten years at Dartmouth College, Johns Hopkins University, the University of New Hampshire and Muhimbili University in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. She has served as the program manager at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine, program coordinator for the M.P.H. program at the University of New Hampshire, and most recently, as the educational specialist/research coordinator at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine.
