Food is essential, and food systems are interconnected and complex. The Minor in Nutrition & Food Studies provides an interdisciplinary opportunity for you to explore how health sciences, sustainability, and other systems are interrelated. With a scientific foundation in nutrition principles and hands-on exploration of local and sustainable food systems, you can then choose elective courses of interest to you to inform your interdisciplinary understanding of food.
Wondering what to major in? The Nutrition & Food Studies Minor pairs especially well with Environmental Studies, Exercise Science, and Public Health.
