Each year, Colby-Sawyer College sends original holiday cards to our alumni, friends, families and community members. This year is no exception, thanks to our two holiday card winners: Kailyn Lapham ’20, and runner-up, Erin Chute ’20.
Lining up to receive a damp white t-shirt, students are often too preoccupied with their tie-dye game plan to wonder who created this year’s Mountain Day t-shirt design. One only needs to look as far as the creator of last year’s t-shirt, senior graphic design major Sam Thomas.
Every Colby-Sawyer student knows the cupola bell on top of Colgate Hall rings three times a year: Commencement, Convocation and Mountain Day. What most people do not know, however, is the person responsible for the bell ringing has done so for the past 25 years.
Long before “The Bucket List” movie was released, I had complied a list of travel destinations which included a safari in Kenya and Tanzania. I could never have imagined just how much of an impact the trip would have on me and the new passion I would discover.
Meagan McCoy’s new life starts today as she walks across the stage to receive her degree in nursing from Colby-Sawyer. She has accepted a position as a graduate nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire.
