When you graduate from Colby-Sawyer with a Bachelor of Science degree in public health, you graduate with the knowledge, skills and experience required to improve population health in a variety of settings including government agencies, nonprofit organizations, hospitals, and educational and research institutions.
Your classroom, laboratory and research experiences combine to provide you with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to take on a self-selected internship within the public health system. It’s your opportunity to find the setting that is best for you.
You are a problem solver who is passionate about serving and protecting the public. You believe in effective health care policies and programs, and now you have the data analysis, research skills and collaborative abilities necessary for advocacy. It’s your time to make a positive impact in health care for all.
Affiliation agreements with Plymouth State University, Springfield College and University of New Haven give you options to move into a master’s degree program in a related field of study immediately following graduation.
