Your involvement shows employers that you take initiative and are ready to win in the workplace.

Athletic Training Club

Support and promote athletics on campus, including collegiate and intramural events, as well sport-related events in the surrounding community. The club attends the annual Eastern Athletic Trainers’ Association Conference.

Boston Marathon

Join classmates and professors for a fun, team-building experience at one of the world’s most famous athletic events. As a Boston Athletic Association marathon volunteer, you ensure that runners and spectators get the support they need while gaining community service experience related to your major.

Eastern Athletic Trainers’ Association Conference

Travel with your classmates to the Northeast’s leading athletic training networking and professional development event for certified athletic trainers and allied medical personnel representing professional sports, colleges, high schools, clinics and industry.

ESS Majors Club

One of the most active clubs on campus, the student-run organization allows you to collaborate with peers who have similar interests and goals within the exercise and sports sciences disciplines. Coordinate health and wellness events for the campus community, participate in academic conferences, attend professional sports games and other sporting events, volunteer with organizations like the Special Olympics and celebrate your accomplishments at the club’s annual banquet.

New England Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine Conference

Gather with students from across New England to learn alongside sports medicine professionals, physicians, physical therapists, athletic trainers and allied health professionals. The NEACSM annual meeting features presentations by leading scientists, clinicians, practitioners and educators who teach new approaches to addressing problems in exercise science, health promotion, sports nutrition and sports medicine.

New Hampshire Athletic Trainers’ Association Student Symposium

Join students from other state undergraduate athletic training programs to present your Capstone research, learn from others and compete against peers in the NHATA Student Symposium Quiz Bowl.

Northern New England Athletic Training Conference

Learn about injury prevention and treatment from regional health care providers and industry experts, and make professional connections sharing your Capstone research during the conference poster presentation session. Presenters and attendees represent sports medicine practitioners from regional health care facilities, including Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, as well as prominent regional college and university faculty experts.
