Dining services staff care about students’ preferences and needs. Whether it’s “waffles all day” or “more Thai and Vietnamese dishes,” they are always willing to listen to suggestions from students like “Rice Lover” and you!

About Dining at Colby-Sawyer

At Colby-Sawyer, students enjoy healthy, handcrafted meals cooked in small batches: burgers are hand-pressed, baked goods are homemade, pizzas are made with fresh dough, soups and sauces are made from scratch, entrée meats are roasted in house, and fried entrees are hand-breaded.

Through partnerships with local and regional distribution networks, Colby-Sawyer sources 23 percent of its food through local, sustainable and humane suppliers — including produce and dairy products from within 150 miles of campus and meats from USDA-inspected facilities within a three-hour drive. Dining services is committed to further expanding its farm-to-table offerings by developing partnerships with regional food initiatives.

With wellbeing, safety and food customs in mind, dining services offers build-your-own meal concepts, mindful menu choices and special options for students with food allergies, sensitivities or dietary restrictions. And, a nutrition calculator with all menu offerings helps students to make healthy choices that keep them going in the classroom, on the stage and on the field.
