Designed to Inspire

With natural light, breathtaking views and 24/7 access to safe, well-ventilated studio spaces, the Davidow Center for Art + Design was built with you in mind, whether you create, perform or appreciate art.

Create alongside talented, like-minded artists and designers in Colby-Sawyer's impressive 15,000-square-foot Davidow Center for Art + Design. Opened in fall 2017, this hub of creativity offers state-of-the-art studios, a black box theater, a fine art gallery with stunning views of Mount Kearsarge, scenic outdoor art spaces and offices for faculty.

The modern Davidow Center for Art + Design and the existing Sawyer Fine and Performing Arts Center combine to give you more dedicated arts spaces across campus. Having access to two buildings exclusively dedicated to the study and practice of the arts also means two galleries and two theaters, increasing opportunities for you to show off your talents – or show up to support your artist friends.

A Work of Art

The Bill and Sonja Davidow '56 Fine Art Gallery offers a range of national and international museum-quality exhibitions in a variety of media, as well as expanded opportunities for students and professional artists.
