Debby Taubert Morris ’79
Debby Taubert Morris earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Colby-Sawyer College in 1979. She is a respected leader and a strategic and operationally-focused executive with over 30 years of experience working in both private and public, national and multi-national companies in industries including healthcare, commercial real estate, collision repair, business outsourcing, marketing and professional services.
Debby’s distinguished career includes serving as the global chief accounting officer for CBRE global real estate services and investments from 1981-1998, and then the CFO of Caliber Collision Centers, the CFO of Lifemasters Supported SelfCare and the CFO-Americas of Sitel Worldwide Corporation. Most recently, Debby was the executive vice president and CFO at Apria Healthcare, where she served from 2013-2022. During her tenure she played a pivotal role in taking Apria public in 2021 and completing the sale of April in 2022.
Debby currently serves on the Board of Directors for Biote Corporation, a leading innovator in preventive health care through the delivery of personalized hormone therapy. She is on the Board of Directors of Rexford Industrial, where she serves on the audit, compensation and nominations, and governance committees. She is also on the Board of Directors of EverDriven, an alternative student transportation service for school districts nationwide, where she chairs the audit committee. Debby is a member of WBL, a non-profit network focused on women leaders in healthcare and WCD—Women Corporate Directors.
Colby-Sawyer is delighted to have Debby as a volunteer, sharing her expertise as a member of the college’s School of Nursing and Health Sciences Advisory Board. Additionally, she serves as a mentor for the professional mentor program for MBA students at the University of Colorado Boulder’s Leeds School of Business, and she is a former mentor to female veterans with American Corporate Partners.
Drawing from her years of experience climbing the corporate ladder while raising twins, Debby recently penned the book “Unbreakable Determination,” illustrating how working women can break free from limiting beliefs, unlock their potential and pursue their dreams.
Debby is a former national freestyle skiing champion and enjoys skiing her in her spare time.
