Colby-Sawyer nursing graduates consistently score above the state and national averages on their first try taking the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN), a standardized exam designed to test the knowledge, skills and abilities of nursing graduates, required for licensure in all 50 states. That’s because Colby-Sawyer’s expert faculty begin preparing you for the NCLEX-RN during your very first nursing course.
Not only will you graduate ready to practice — you’ll likely graduate with a job! The majority of Colby-Sawyer nursing graduates are offered positions prior to graduation at a variety of health care facilities, including hospitals, clinics, private practices and community-based healthcare organizations.
Our nursing alumni know there is always more to learn, both on the job and back in the classroom, and you can take your career to the next level with a graduate degree from Colby-Sawyer. Our M.S.N. program prepares you for practice as an advanced nurse generalist in a health care setting. Program graduates are eligible to take the Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) certification exam and fill an in-demand health care role.
